Journal of Medicinal Chemistry Recognized on List of Top 100 Most Influential Journals in Biology and Medicine

The Biomedical and Life Sciences Division (DBIO) of the Special Libraries Association has recognized the Journal of Medicinal Chemistry, only one of two American Chemical Society journals, as one of the 100 most influential journals in the last 100 years in Medicine and Biology. The award, delivered in conjunction with the centennial of the DBIO, is the result of polls compiled by the 680-plus DBIO members and three panels of experts. Professor Philip Portoghese, Ph.D., is the editor in chief of the journal, which is housed in the University of Minnesota’s College of Pharmacy, Department of Medicinal Chemistry.
