The Division of Medicinal Chemistry
Award
The Division of Medicinal Chemistry Award is
given in even years, and the presentation and award symposium
are held at the National Medicinal Chemistry Symposium. This
award is open to any scientist or team of scientists whose
research has, directly or indirectly, had a significant effect
on medicinal chemistry. Although other types of accomplishments
(such as a new research tool or a biological discovery) will
not be excluded, emphasis shall be placed on (a) medicinal
chemistry, (b) recent contributions, and (c) scientists whose
accomplishments have not already been adequately recognized
in the form of other honors.
